Version 1.3 Crashes

This crashes deterministically when I attempt to write a message to anyone. This is pretty unacceptable.

Great in theory / not so much

Well, I bought this chat client thinking it would be a great replacement for what I’m currently using. It’s very beautiful, but it’s just not quite there. I’m hoping this developer will keep working on it and make it what it really should be. Sorry to say that I’m pretty dissipointed … and even after reading all of the bad comments I thought to myself “it can’t be that bad” … well it kinda is. It could really be the best chat client out there if it’s ever finished.

Maybe it works? Maybe?

I haven’t even been able to use the app. When I try to write a contact name, it crashes. It has done so twenty times in a row. When I was trying to log in with Google Hangouts, it took ten attempts. Each time when I pressed ‘login’ it crashed. It finally worked on the eleventh. In short: it does not work. Do not buy.

no group chat

Doesn’t receive messages from group chats. Complete waste of money.

Crashes when I start typing a destination address

Crashes every time. Tried rebooting. Still crashes, every time.

Piece of garbage

As soon as you go to send a new text the moment you start typing numbers it crashes what a waste of money thid app nees to be updated

Use Adium instead!

I tried to replace Adium by Flamingo, but was impossible. Flamingo doesn’t work properly with Google Hangouts, and Crash quite often. Is beatiful, but the functionality is terrible. I think Adium still is a better (and Free) option.

Nice try

Looks like this app had some good UI work done, but the back end is obviously lacking. It works OK for Google, but really… Your production Facebook App is linked to your devevelopment effort so I can’t even use Facebook chat in your app because you currently set the associated Facebook App to be available to non-developers (wrong mode in production). Embarrassing.

Can’t link Google account

Yes, it did look pretty good from the outside. I thought I could use Flamingo to replace the power-consuming browser do to the same thing, but it won’t link my Google account to use Hangouts and I can’t get a hold of the developer about the problem. Wasted money, and settling for the browser for now.

Beautiful, buggy as hell

Beautiful application. Would love it, if it worked properly. - Opening a new chat doesnt put focus on the chat recipient field (I end up typing names into my last conversation) - Chat input field does this weird thing where it floats up while youre trying to type - Lots of little annoying quirks. Other than those glaring and persistent issues, its great!

Crashes every day

I’m on El Capitan, and it crashes on me at least once a day. Works OK otherwise , though sometimes resizing the chat window makes everything go out of alignment and hard to read.

Could be so good

The app is beautiful, and the functionality has most of what you’d want! Except: -Sometimes crashes when resizing window -Sometimes crashes for no reason at all -As conversations go on, text stops lining up in the bubbles, making things impossible to read unless you reload -When you cmd+tab over to the window, it starts typing in the search box for your contacts instead of the text box you had open. Basically, so close to being great, but so so buggy. I check the app store almost every day hoping for an update to make this app would it could be.

waste of money

i got this and looked at this description i was hoping it would work with twitter but sadly no, dont get it

Does what I want

Does exatly what I want, except there’s no video chat. Still, a solid app so far. I’m happy :).

Add fullscreenmode

This is really must so we can put in El Capitan half screen this app and other messenger.
